Kusmi Tchaï of the Tiger Organic 100g

Kusmi Tchaï of the Tiger is a black, organic tea from India with spices and natural flavourings, perfect for those who enjoy a spicy, strong and flavorful tea.

The tea was developed by Kusmi in collaboration with WWF, which helps protect endangered wild tigers, a species that is iconic in tea-producing regions. This is also the origin of the tea's name.

The recipe is based on a tea variant from Thiashola, a renowned organic and ethical tea estate located in the Nilgiri region of southwest India. Thiashola is also home to tigers protected by WWF. The tea combines, very successfully, black tea with aromatic spices. When the black tea is blended with the organic spices, its full character is revealed. Ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, black and pink pepper together create a delightful balance of strength and sweetness in the flavour. In this way this tea blend is inspired by the tigers it helps protect.

Kusmi has been a sponsor of WWF's Tx2 Project for the past two years. Through this initiative WWF aims to double the population of wild tigers measured in 2010. The goal is to reach 6,000 tigers in 2022, which is the next Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese zodiac. To support the project Kusmi will donate 1 euro to WWF for every tin of Tchaï of the Tiger sold.
