Description
Simple to use - here's how:
Back Flush (each group head):
- Place blind filter in the portafilter and add up to 1/2 tsp (3 g) Cafiza ® powder.
- Run the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
- Remove the portafilter. Activate the brew cycle and rinse the portafilter. Stop the cycle.
- Place the portafilter in the group head. Repeat step (2), without Cafiza ® powder, 5 times.
- Brew and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains.
For use with coffee brewers
- Remove coffee from equipment. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp (3 g) Cafiza ® powder per 2 liters into the brew basket.
- Run a full brew cycle in each container, then let sit for 30 minutes.
- Rinse all parts with clean hot water.

Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaner Powder is a backflush powder.
An integral and important part of the daily maintenance of semi-automatic espresso machines. The concentrated formula quickly and effectively cleans and degreases the espresso machine's group head, portafilter and valves.
Can also be used to clean coffee pots and thermal carafes.
Urnex Cafiza® is recommended for a wide range of traditional espresso machines and is NSF certified. Furthermore, the cleaning powder is 100% organically biodegradable and approved for organic production.
