BRITA Maxtra+ Filter 1 pc

BRITA MAXTRA+ water filter is an updated and improved version of the classic Maxtra filter, used in your BRITA water filter jug to remove limescale and impurities from the water that affect taste and smell. 

MAXTRA+ cartridges can filter up to 100 litres of water, but should be replaced approximately once a month for optimal performance.

The filter consists of ion exchangers and activated carbon made from coconut. The activated carbon is produced by first carbonising the coconut shell at approx. 200–300 °C. Steam is then added to activate the carbon and give it an enormous surface area that can absorb as much limescale as possible.
