Latte art is the term for when you draw in the milk foam on top of a cappuccino. The truly skilled baristas can shape some basic figures, such as a tree or a heart, directly as the milk foam is poured into the espresso.
For most people, however, a latte art kit is necessary to achieve the desired figures.
