Concept-Art Joe Frex Leveling Tool is a clever tool that makes any barista more efficient.
This coffee distributor is made of beautiful rosewood and stainless steel. It fits a 58 mm portafilter.
The distributor is manufactured so that it always compresses and levels the coffee in the portafilter to the desired depth.
The depth adjustment is very easy to set: after loosening the head, adjust the base by turning it to the desired height, and then secure the head again.
It is adjusted with 1 and 2 mm shims by unscrewing the top and placing them as desired, either with none, or 1, 2, or all combined for up to 5 mm.
