The tea leaves are hand-picked and steamed. The steaming process is carried out shortly after the leaves are picked.

The purpose is to prevent oxidation. After that the leaves are air-dried and sorted. It is the dried leaves that give the gentle cup of tea its own distinctive flavor. Mild and light in taste, with a delicate floral note.

In China, Pai Mu Tan is a highly prized beverage.
