Organic Ceylon & Matcha Tea with Ginger & Lemon 1 kg

The green Ceylon tea used here comes from the unique climate of the UVA region in Sri Lanka. When the monsoon wind from the south and the humidity from the subtropical climate in the north meet in the UVA region of the island, it creates ideal conditions for the tea leaves, which are thereby constantly blown free of moisture. The matcha tea is made from hand-picked Tencha leaves.

The tea bushes are shade-treated so they are not exposed too strongly to the sun. This brings out the umami flavor in the tea. After drying, the tea leaves are ground on a stone mill into matcha.
