The cleaning tablets are placed directly in the spout for ground coffee, after which the machine dissolves the tablet and pumps the liquid through hoses and pipes.

Nivona's espresso machines have built-in cleaning programs that prompt you to activate them when necessary. All you need to do is start the cleaning and insert a cleaning tablet when the machine asks for it.
