The tea brewer is made in Tetsubin style, which channels classic Japanese tea culture. It is made of cast iron - a material that has been used since the 18th century. The cast iron helps retain heat. The handle and the lid knob only become lukewarm, so you can easily pour the tea without burning your fingers.
It is intended for serving only, so it must be filled with boiling water before you add the tea. It has an enameled interior and does not transfer flavor, ensuring that the tea retains its true taste. Its tea infuser is removable and can handle either loose tea, powdered tea or tea bags.
