The conical kettle is made of mirror-polished stainless steel while the handle, the knob on the lid and the bird are made of nylon. The kettle has a capacity of 2 liters.

Alessi 9093 kettle can be used on all types of stovetop - including induction. If used on a gas stove, one should expect the kettle to become discolored, and this is not covered by the warranty.
